A moment of happiness,
you and I sitting on the verandah,
apparently two, but one in soul, you and I.
We feel the flowing water of life here,
you and I, with the garden's beauty
and the birds singing.
The stars will be watching us,
and we will show them
what it is to be a thin crescent moon.
You and I unselfed, will be together,
indifferent to idle speculation, you and I.
The parrots of heaven will be cracking sugar
as we laugh together, you and I.
In one form upon this earth,
and in another form in a timeless sweet land.

To what does "Kulliyat-e Shams, 2114" refer. Was this a way of Rumi categorizing or filing his poems?

Hi :
I am not an expert but we are doing some cataloging work here at TiLu Press, my understanding of this is that it is a book title actually a title from an 8 Volume set of books that captured some of Rumi's work.
the most well known edition and probably one of the older ones is:
Furuzanfar, Badi-uz-zaman. Kulliyat-e Shams, 8 vols., Tehran: Amir Kabir Press, 1957-66.
A Critical edition of the collected odes, qutrains and other poems of Rumi with glossary and notes.
The number 2114 is where it is located within that collection.
Hope that helps. ~~Tim Kavi
